“Take Back Your Time”
1:1 Coaching Program (12 Sessions)
Helping teachers (like you) take back your evenings and weekends, gain more balance between home and school, and find enough hours for what matters most.
You used to take pride in effortlessly juggling “all of the things”. But these days, your epic to-do list rarely ever gets finished.
There are 168 hours in a week.
But somehow, “having enough time to do it all” eludes you.
It’s driving you crazy because you’re an amazing teacher, who is used to figuring things out and getting shit done.
You’ve tried apps, productivity books, podcasts, and multi-tasking hacks.
Intentionally scheduled self-care and exercise into your day. Made lists, set alarms, and meal prepped. Handed the children off to your partner.
You’ve gotten up early to seize the day. You’ve stayed up late to get caught up.
You have invested time, money, and endless amounts of energy into figuring out how to get everything done.
But here you are.
Sometimes feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stressed, ashamed, guilt-ridden and to make matters worse, you’re sitting in a pile of dirty laundry and school deadlines.
Wondering, how things are ever going to get better.
Hey there, I’m Krystal.
And I help teachers (like you) who have tons of goals and dreams, get control of your time so you have the space, energy, and confidence to prioritize what YOU want and need without worrying that you’re letting everyone else down.
More specifically, I can help you leave these things behind:
Staying at school too late and having no time for your family and yourself in the evenings
Constantly trying your best but feeling like you’re failing in some way (like you never quite have it all together)
Teacher guilt, mom guilt, or productivity guilt for never doing all the things you know need to do
Sunday Scaries that plague you on Sunday afternoons, stealing the last precious hours of your weekend
You’re also tired of never having the time or energy for the most basic “adulting” tasks when you get home from work, much less exercise, a friend date, or your hobbies.
(Remember those?)
I’d love to invite you to “Take Back Your Time”:
A 12-session personalized 1:1 coaching program to help you feel:
Empowered and calm as you identify (and let go of) your mindset time traps and other beliefs that steal your time and drain your energy
Inspired and energized as you create a vision for the life you want, yet grounded in reality by turning that vision into an actionable goal
Motivated and compelled to take action, propelling you toward having more balance between home and school, with more time for the things you want to do
Karen A.
“I was struggling with time management and frustration about all the extra responsibilities that come with teaching.”
From our sessions, I worked out plans and put procedures into place to help sort out what needs to be done and what doesn’t.
I put time into the day for me to reflect and process the days. I have been able to regroup and keep a more positive attitude when sudden changes have come up.
Spending a couple of months in a coaching relationship is a big deal (so is investing time and money in yourself) and you want to know the game plan.
In this program, we’ll work together through 5 simple steps to get you more of the balance between home and school that you’re after.
The steps are outlined below, so you can feel confident knowing what the plan is to get you from point A to B.
-
In this first step, we’ll focus on coaching strategies and tools to help you leverage things you have control over, like how you speak to yourself, the power of the words you use, reframing your thoughts, and your own breath.
This first step will help you approach the rest of the program from a place of calm and control, empowered to problem-solve creative solutions to the things that challenge and frustrate you (like never having enough time to work out, get the laundry caught up, finish your correcting and always feeling like you should be doing more).
-
You can’t help your students reach a goal if they don’t know what they’re supposed to be aiming for and the same is true for you. Step 2 is all about creating a vision - deciding how you want things in your life to be different, how you want to feel, and what you want your life to look like.
When you picture your life with long, leisurely weekends, doing fun hobbies and reconnecting with your favorite people, and saying buh-bye to the Sunday Scaries, you’ll feel more invested in doing the work required to make some changes in your life because you know that vision is worth the effort.
-
Having a vision is great, but without a plan and some practical steps to follow, you’re not going to get very far. Your vision may have included regular date nights, better sleep or more movement, and relaxing on Saturday morning with coffee and a book. But if you try to overhaul everything at once, you’ll likely get overwhelmed and discouraged.
In step 3, you’ll decide which area you’d like to start with. Then, I’ll help you design a goal that you’re inspired to work toward. Plus, we’ll also use coaching strategies to break your goal into smaller micro-goals that can be completed along the way more quickly, so you feel successful and motivated to keep going.
-
It’s time to get into the action phase, and work on the plan that we’ve co-created to bring you closer to your vision of making planning at school more effortless, making your home feel more like an oasis, having more white space in your schedule, or feeling like your life is fun and fulfilling.
You’ll practice the different coaching strategies you’ve learned to make consistent progress. However, sometimes life happens. And so this step is also about flexible problem-solving and practicing self-compassion, so even when things aren’t going exactly as you hoped, you’ll still feel proud of the progress you’re making.
-
This final step is different from the others, but it’s all about maintaining the momentum of your progress. Up to this point, we will have been meeting weekly because direct focus, consistency, and accountability is the best way to see results quickly and feel great about the changes you’re making.
In this step, you have 2 options:
1) Continue weekly meetings for the remaining 4 sessions, keeping things as-is
2) Discontinue weekly meetings and use the remaining 4 sessions at your discretion over the next 8 weeks (like gradual release).
Everyone is different and in this step, you’ll get the support and accountability you feel will be most helpful to you and your progress, in this last phase.

“My outlook and inner voice has changed for the better since working with Krystal. She has given me tools to build the life I want and been a constant source of support and encouragement.”
She really listens and builds on what I say, asking questions and inviting me to try things she knows will help me be the person I want to be.
As a fellow teacher, she shares her knowledge and experience which I use to become a better teacher and feel validated and more confident in my abilities.
Through my struggles with executive dysfunction, I have learned what I can do to improve and grow through struggles while forgiving myself and others.

“When I first started working with Krystal, I was feeling overwhelmed with life and trying to have some balance between responsibilities and time for myself. Also, I found myself freezing due to being overwhelmed and needing a push to accomplish things.”
Through our sessions, I became more focused on redefining who I am outside of my career and family and I think that was really important in helping me find some balance and give myself some time to recharge, and also trying to really embrace who I am right now and not just the image I have for my future self.
Instead of waiting for things to change, I’m trying to take the time to enjoy the moment right now. I am really happy with the changes that I’ve made so far but actually more excited to keep the momentum going.
Laurel R.
“Since working with Krystal, I have changed how I view my identity.
And now I am working on actually caring for my body instead of feeling guilty for things I don’t do. I have more compassion for myself and I am beginning to add small self-care things to my day.”
The “Take Back Your Time” coaching program is perfect for you if you’re:
Ready to explore the mindset stuff that may be keeping you stuck
Goal-oriented + have always taken pride in your high standards
Action-oriented and ready to implement the tools and techniques you learn
Ready to set down a few balls and give up your status as “master-juggler-of-all-things”
And you want…
Space to breathe and time to think
Time to exercise, read or actually enjoy your hobbies
To feel present with your kids and your partner
To have fun again
To feel like you’re doing enough and feel proud of yourself
And, most importantly, you want to be the most empowered, vibrant version of yourself
“Take Back Your Time” is not for you if you:
Already feel resentful at the thought of “losing” an hour a week to coaching
Enjoy being the go-to person for everything and don’t plan to let that go
Aren’t likely to ever start saying no to things, even at your own expense
Aren’t ready or don’t feel like you’re in the best head space to dig into mindset or behavior patterns

“In the beginning, I was struggling with not knowing my priorities, and not being sure how to balance things.”
From our sessions, I learned that making a commitment to others helps me to get my stuff done. I already knew that "I can do hard things" but I'd lost some confidence that I'm currently capable of that...I think it got renewed.
I began a workout regime, made reasonable plans for TPT projects over the break and fulfilled them as planned (despite obstacles), improved my self-confidence, and completed my teacher performance appraisal.
I appreciated the support and found the most growth in my calmness.
